Kathy Kneale and her son Andrew Kneale opened Harrisons Restaurant in December of 2003. Their goal was to create a restaurant that was a reflection of each of their lives growing up and working in Stowe. Utilizing Kathys experience of over 30 years of owning and operating two other restaurants in town, they wanted a place where locals and visitors alike could enjoy comfortable, creative and affordable food in an environment that was casual yet upscale and unique to Stowe. A place where you could meet old friend and new, have a romantic date night out or just to unwind with a nice glass of wine.
Named after Kathys late husband and Andrews father who was instrumental in the familys restaurant career, Harrisons is their creation of what they think dining out should be: unpretentious, memorable, and most of all, fun.
Harrisons truly is a family run business. Andrew can be found behind the bar each night and Kathy is in the dining room meeting and greeting guests ensuring everyone is taken care of. They look forward to your visit and remind you; At Harrisons, youre always among friends!
